Rob Brown has never been missing a day in his life. He wandered Rome when he was nine and saw all the sights. Now at 37, he is a nineteen-time AWNA/CCNA/MCNA/BNA award-winning reporter and photographer, and has a pair of awards for Best News story as well as a couple for Best Photography. When Rob was three, his father moved him to live on an island. This taught him patience and solitude. His writing spans from weekly publications to quarterly magazines, daily newspapers to anthologies, small print shops and national media outlets. He has live on-air television, radio, film and stage experience. His career as a playwright, beginning in 2012, has already garnered a handful of recognitions and nominations. He has over a decade of consultation and advising work with municipal and provincial election campaigns and his candidate readiness and prep strategies bring about success and results. His elementary school was behind barbed wire. It taught him security and offence. He is also published poet, music journalist and had a decade long film review column in The Aisle Seat and Reel to Reel.
