Bikini Robot Army

Things could be worse for Val Broeksmit, who has not only directed, produced, or acted in his own short films and commercials,  he was also the Director of Photography for "Hells Kitchen" in 2007, Val is also the founder of Bikini Robot Army one of the first rock and roll internet file sharing produced bands.

Gaining the attention of Keith Richards and Moby, the album Old Soldiersis anything but mainstream with its Indie, Rock, and Dance infused sound.
Originally known as Good Time Charlie and already making an impressive stint on the New York scene, Val Broeksmit takes Bikini Robot Army to the next level, and with songs like "Joe Strummers house", and "Things Could Be Worse" it's no wonder why some of his other special guests also include David Bowie and Andrew Jarecki.

Val Broeksmit has also won seven awards including three for Best Song, which comes as no surprise as Old Soldiers is an incredible era driven album that reflects Genre's from the 60's, 70's, Punk, Dance and Rock.

With the addition of Jarecki to drums and combined with Val's already unique style, songs like "Joe Strummers house", "Cocaine Lady" and "The Owl And The Pussycat" will make this an album to hear.  Though he credits all riffs directly to Keith Richards as his main inspiration, Val definitely has the talent to receive his own kudos for his work in film and music.

From Val's Joe Strummer voice, to his mix of electric guitars and sampled beats, Old Soldiers from Bikini Robot Army is nothing short of musical genius and only adds to his repertoire of irrefutable work.

As I anxiously await the release of his highly anticipated album Cat Thief Electric, and urge you to check this album out......grab a beer and park your ass, I think you'll like what you hear!
