Before the band took the stage, the chanting started for Lamb of God. Fan pushed towards the barrier to get up close and personal with the heavy metal act, based out of Richmond, Virginia. A band that represents the present and future of modern heavy metal, keeping it alive for the next generation. Randy and company launched into “Omertà”, with an intensity that Lamb of God is known for. That includes lead singer Randy Blythe hurling himself off the the top of the drum riser, which was well about the main stage during, “Walk with Me In Hell”
The crowd loved it.
Randy paid homage to the fact that this was the last tour for Slayer and the historical nature of the show, and all Slayer has done for metal. Dedicating “Laid to Rest” to the Tom Araya and the boys.
The show culminated in a giant circle pit for “Redneck” as the how was an intense affair that never let it hand off the Throttle. Without a doubt Lamb of God knows what their fans want and deliver it in flawless fashion!
