With the winds whipping up dust and debris, Virginia To Vegas (Derik Baker) took to the Coke Stage for a 30-minute set of high energy pop. The crowd gathered was a bit limited, with many people seeking refuge from the wind, that didn’t seem to dampen Virginia To Vegas’ performance.
The resulting wind warning and increasing gusts wasn’t going to stop Canada’s Electropop powerhouse though. The last time she played the Coke Stage, she endured a torrential downpour, so you can imagine a little bit of wind wasn’t going to faze Lights.
It wasn’t going to deter fans either, as the grounds surrounding the Coke Stage filled in, knowing Lights would deliver a great show, and she didn’t disappoint.
Known for her high-energy live performances, Lights danced, strutted and belted out an hour-long set that consisted of many hits like “Drive My Soul”, “Up We Go” and her recent release, “We Were Here”.
