It was a perfect summer night for an open-air concert.
Kicking things off was the Montreal-based trio, Braids. Originally from Calgary, it was a bit of a home coming for them. Braids lit up the Coke State with a high energy, 30-minute set filled with their Indie Alt-Rock Sound.
Headliners, Metric proved why they have been a fan favorite for years. The Toronto-based four-some took command of the stage from the very first note played, and frontwoman, Emily Haines was a force to be reckoned with.
With a huge library of hits, Metric had the massive crowd dancing and singing along to a whole host of hits, including “Dark Sunday”, “Now or Never Now”, “Art of Doubt”, “Dressed to Suppress” and “Risk” from the new album, Art of Doubt.
