The first time meeting this Toronto based band and they “wowed” us with their energy on stage and pop punk rockin’ sound. Formed in 2006, we have been hearing about this band for just as long and we were all eyes and ears at The Hideout listening to this band and their sizzling performance on stage. The perfect band to start the night off with energy , zest and style although we would could easily see them as a the main act in future shows.

Look for this band to impress audiences for many years to come. Recent tours included being part of C J Ramone and they now embark on a Canada wide tour with The Mahones, this band will not disappoint, check them out in a city near you, make it sooner as opposed to later.

Brazen Angelz

We first heard about Brazen Angelz after meeting Kieron Daly “JAck D” and Kevin Watson “MAK” at Indie Week in 2009 and we have been smitten ever since, wanting to see this band live. We have heard much about this trio over the past few years, and Portal Magazine’s night at The Hideout did not let us down. Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Paisley, Scotland and Sunderland, England this now Toronto based band will charm and engage you with their spectacular rock performance.

Influenced by artists such as Deep Purple, Thin Lizzy and The Police, the sound is classic yet contemporary. Bringing back memories of rock ‘n’ roll with a twist of social conscience.

With over twelve years of performing together, previously releasing two CD’s as “Watson” the lads have a synergetic connection, locking into each other effortlessly. Look forward to this band coming to a city near you soon.

The full length CD “Fear is Not Respect” is available now from and

Two singles have also been releasesd “Just Want Yer Love”, available from, and “Whiskey In The Jar” available from

“Are ye ready to Rock?” as JAck D says, and with this band you will be.
Genre: Pop Rock
Members: MAK: lead vocals and guitar
JAck D: lead vocals, bass and percussion
Stealth: drums and backing vocals

The music of Richmond Hill’s littleSUNDAY captured our rock and roll heart over 5 years ago and watching their performance at The Hideout was similar to going to a family reunion. Rick Farrell is the quintessential frontman. Rick and the rest of the band have the ability to capture your attention from the second they come on stage with their infectious energy and music. From hard rock to pop this band ignites on stage. This night I was in for a surprise and received a taste of littleSUNDAYS array of cover songs and whether it was a current hit or blast from the blast such as Billy Idol, these guys always thoroughly entertain me and leave me with a smile.

littleSUNDAY became a favourite of mine years ago and I expect they will be for you too once you have heard them. This band is all about “peace, love and good karma” it’s a motto they live by and it happens to be the title of the new EP coming out soon so stay tuned.

Since 2003 littleSUNDAY have been Rocking the world and I hope they will continue for years to come. You can hear their EP entitled “Let It All Out” on CD Baby, ITunes and Amazon.

Genre: Rock, Rock Alternative, Classic Rock
Members: Rick Farrell: lead vocals/guitar
Joe Polito: lead guitars/backing vocals
