After playing “Under the Sun” and “Den of Thieves”, Colin took a moment to acknowledge the energy of the crowd proclaiming, “This feels more like a rock show than an acoustic show.” A feel that lasted the entire night. The electricity in the air grew as The Trews ran through their set. The night saw the crowd sing along to “Hope and Ruin”, and continue to sing and raising their hands in the air to “Sing Your Heart Out.”
After a fifteen minute break the guys returned to the stage to continue the show with their second set.
The second set saw the return of opener Rich Robinson, founding member of The Black Crowes, to the stage to perform a spirited version of The Black Crowes “Wiser Time”. Most definitely a fantastic moment to take in.
The crowd never lost their drive, virtually singing along to almost every song in both sets of the night. Overall a fantastic two sets, that delivered a fun filled and spirited acoustic performance. Simply put a must see.
