It was a high energy night at the Grey Eagle Resort and Event Centre. Three high octane bands in the form of Bad Wolves, Nothing More, and Three Days Grace played there own various styles of hard rock to a very appreciative audience. Bad Wolves were the first to take the stage, and it was safe to say that in a very short time won over the crowd. Tommy Next was masterful in getting the crowed amped up, from getting the audience to hug one another, to having all the ladies in the crowd up on the shoulders of others, and of course getting the mosh pit started. Bad Wolves wrapped up their set with their double platinum cover of Zombie by the Cranberries, which had the crowd sing so loud that we are sure that Delores O’Riordan will have been smiling from above.

Nothing More of Texas, were up next. Jonny Hawkins started by playing a standing drum admit the smoke and flooding yellow lights. There is now denying Hawkins energy, charisma, as he worked the crowd shirtless and barefoot, even though he admittedly is not a fan of the cold in Canada. Hawkins kept the crowd going building on the energy in the room, and winning a great deal of new fans along the way.

Final veteran rockers Three Day’s Grace took the stage. The set started with a recording of Bon Jovi’s “ Living on a Prayer”, which had the crowd singing along, and started the crowd surfing for the set. From the moment the band launched their set with, “The Mountain”, Walst was animated and on the move often jumping onto a row of speakers past the edge of the stage, making his way back and forth pointing and interacting with the crowd. Three Days Grace had a large stage setup including three large video walls, and ramps on either side of the stage. Their energy fuelled a already pumped up crowd, as Walst called for the crowd to keep the pit going. A high energy performance from the Toronto based rockers.

Three Days Grace continues to produce a highly energetic show, with fantastic lighting and atmosphere, with a fantastic cast of supporting acts in Bad Wolves and Nothing More. A show well worth taking in.
